Day three of the Cheltenham Festival saw typically enthralling action but the week is set to come to an end with the Gold Cup. Rachael Blackmore will be hoping to defend her crown and was optimistic on A Plus Tard’s chances of featuring on Friday, though rumours have swirled over her future in the sport.
The final race card will see seven exciting races showcasing the sport, including the must-watch Gold Cup. Blackmore has already steered Honeysuckle to an emotional victory on the opening day of the festival, while Energumene and Delta Work have also been among the big-name victors.
With millions wagered both at Cheltenham and from home, many will be hoping that Blackmore can repeat her feat from 2022 with A Plus Tard. Meanwhile, there has been rain at the course throughout the weekend and more is forecasted for this afternoon.
