Inside Serena Williams’ luxury houses after sister Venus ‘bans’ her from her own

Tennis legend and sporting icon Serena Williams retired from the game in September 2022 to prioritise her family life, but did so with a whopping 39 titles to her name. Thankfully she has some beautiful properties to display her honours in across North America and Europe, but she’s not welcome at one property owned by sister Venus.

Williams owns two beautiful mansions in Los Angeles and Florida, with a beautiful flat in Paris for whenever she’s in and around Europe.

The former Tennis star used to live with sister Venus in Palm Beach, a 8,489 square foot property that was purchased for just £500,000 back in 1998. The pair lived together throughout the majority of their tennis careers, bringing all sorts of success back to the luxury mansion.

But it was sold for around £2.1million in 2021, and now Serena lives with husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian along with their five-year-old daughter named Olympia. Their daughter has been raised across both Florida and Los Angeles, and the houses are stunning.

Williams’ main residence is thought to be in Beverly Hills after she spent £5.1m on a mansion in a private gated community. The beautiful home is said to be 6,000-square-foot, and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Their spacious kitchen overlooks a lower level, which boasts a walk-in wine cellar along with a bar. But to keep fit Williams and her family can relax in their swimming pool while the sun is out in LA.

When the Williams family feel like a getaway to the east coast, they can simply rock up to her £2m home in Palm Beach Gardens which sits on 1.25 acres of land. It was where Williams reportedly raised her daughter at the property during the early years, and used the home as a retreat to get away from LA.

Just like the Beverly Hills property this also have five bedrooms, but only the five bathrooms this time around. Away from the United States though, Williams has a two-bedroom flat in Paris which overlooks the Eiffel Towel.

The flat was mainly used when the WTA Tour took her to Europe, but Williams also loves the area. Williams is said to be fluent in French as a result of her travels, and even feels at home over in the busy capital.

“A lot of Americans don’t like Europe, and I can understand. But I like a change,” she said USA Today back in 2013. Williams has owned the flat since 2007, and it’s fair to say it’s worth more now than it was back then.

Williams may have a mixture of homes to visit, but in a hilarious exchange with sister Venus she was ‘uninvited’ from her property. Williams uploaded a video to TikTok of her harassing sister Venus, as she noticed a lot of her possessions were at her sibling’s house.

“I’m here to confess that my sister is a thief. Here’s evidence,” she began. “So I’m at Venus’ house and clearly this is where all my workout balls went but I’m trying not to complain, I’m trying to just be positive here. This amazing reformer was mine so. I keep asking her for some money but she’s outright refused.

“She needs to be brought to justice, that’s an ‘S’ on that towel. These things are mine. What else in here is mine? Is that in fact my dog. That is my dog.”

Venus clapped back online after seeing the viral clip, as she wrote: “Permanently disinvited from my home @serenawilliams.” The sisters continue to share a close relationship, even after more than 20 years living together.
