Watch live as supporters witness the Women’s World Cup semi-final between Australia and England unfold.
Fans in London are hoping the Lionesses can reach their first-ever World Cup final, while many in Sydney will be backing the tournament hosts to reach the showpiece event.
The return of star striker Sam Kerr boosted Australian hopes ahead of kick-off, but England boss Sarina Wiegman has insisted that simply nullifying her threat will not be enough to see the Lionesses through.
Kerr is her country’s leading goal-scorer of either gender but has only appeared as a substitute in the global showpiece so far after injuring her calf.
“There is more than Sam Kerr, because at the end it is always a team performance. When the team does really well an individual can do even better. That’s the same for Australia and it’s the same for England,” Wiegman said.
