The Toffees completed the £12million purchase of Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson. The Scotland international joins left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko in arriving at Goodison Park.
Elsewhere, Newcastle appear to be closing in on Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier.
Eddie Howe has been linked with several defenders this month as he looks to reinvigorate a defence that has already conceded a staggering 42 Premier League goals.

Arsenal have been linked with both players. There could also be updates on Chelsea’s pursuit of Everton’s Lucas Digne.
