Trossard’s deal expires at the end of the season and he was omitted from Brighton’s squad that beat Middlesbrough 5-1 in the FA Cup on Saturday as doubts grow over his future on the south coast.
Since joining Brighton in 2019 from Genk, Trossard has scored 25 goals made 14 assists in 121 appearances for the club.
