Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has claimed the club could compete for four trophies this season after beating Barcelona in their Europa League playoff.
The Red Devils won 4-3 on aggregate to take their place in the last-16 of the competition, with Erik ten Hag’s side among the favourites to lift the trophy.
United will face Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, while the club remain in contention in both the Premier League and FA Cup.
Scholes had joked following the first leg against Barcelona that a quadruple remained on for the fast-improving side.
The former United midfielder suggested the prospect looked more realistic now, but acknowledge it would be a difficult challenge to achieve.

‘It is still on,’ Scholes said on BT Sport.
‘In the top five leagues in Europe we are the only ones who can still win the quadruple.
‘Look it is there, it’ll be difficult but who knows.’
