Southampton winger Nathan Redmond is reportedly set to leave the club for a move to Turkey.

The 28-year-old, who has less than a year left on his contract at St Mary’s, was the subject of a deadline-day bid from Premier League side Bournemouth.

He has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Ralph Hasenhuttl and the club are willing to grant him a transfer away from the club.

Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have made official bids for Redmond ahead of the closure of the Turkish Super Lig window, according to The Athletic.

Saints are expected to receive a fee for the player, who has one England cap, with The Athletic reporting that talks between the club and the three Turkish sides are at an advanced stage.

Redmond could link up with Dele Alli, who joined Besiktas on loan from Everton in the summer transfer window. The former Tottenham man scored in just his second appearance for his new team on Sunday.

Redmond has only been selected in one matchday squad by Ralph Hasenhuttl this season

Besiktas are believed to be the frontrunners to land Redmond’s signature prior to the Turkish transfer window slamming shut on Thursday.

All three Turkish sides are thought to have offered the former Birmingham and Norwich forward lucrative deals in a bid to tempt him to become the latest export from the Premier League to the country.

Everton and Wolves had also expressed an interest in signing Redmond, who has made 195 appearances for Saints since joining the club in 2016.

After coming off the bench late on in Saints’ 4-1 defeat at Spurs on the opening weekend, Redmond has not been selected for the matchday squad by Hasenhuttl.
