Ten Hag previews Man Utd's Premier League match against Aston Villa
Manchester United youngster Toby Collyer was spotted training with the squad on Friday ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa. The Red Devils go into the game looking to return to winning ways in the top flight after their 2-2 draw with Tottenham in midweek. However, Unai Emery’s side are flying and will be tough opponents in the match at Old Trafford.
Images show Collyer training with United, with the 19-year-old included in the session ahead of the match with Aston Villa on Sunday.
The youngster was put through his paces, along with the rest of his team-mates, and took part in a rondo along with the likes of Brandon Williams, Fred and Wout Weghorst.
United signed Collyer back in March 2022, with the midfielder arriving on a three-and-a-half year contract from Brighton.
The teenager was born in Worthing in January 2004 and joined Brighton’s academy at Under-12 level.
So talented was Collyer he made his Under-18s debut at the age of just 15, helping Brighton finish third Premier League South in the 2020/2021 season.

Collyer earned a move to United after a trial stint at the club.
And he was signed back in March after impressing Red Devils coaches while playing for the Under-23s in a friendly match with Huddersfield.
Chelsea and West Ham were linked with Collyer prior to his move to United but, in the end, he sealed a move to Old Trafford.
Another player snapped in United training was Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentine hasn’t played for the club since a goalless draw with Southampton on March 12, with injury preventing him from taking to the field.

Garnacho is back in training, however, and had a big smile on his face as he worked on his fitness.
The teenager signed a new contract with United on Friday, with that deal due to run until the summer of 2028.
And he reacted to the development by saying: “When I joined this incredible club, I dreamt of achieving my debut, playing at Old Trafford, scoring my first goal and winning trophies with this badge on my chest.
“I feel very proud and emotional to have experienced these moments already, together with my family who have supported me every step of the way.
“We are all humbled to have this chance to continue our journey at Manchester United and I have already begun to work on achieving the next set of targets and ambitions.

“The manager and his coaching staff have helped me to improve in every way, and with their support, I am developing each day to help the team to be successful.
“I am relishing the future and can’t wait to create more special memories with this group, in front of our amazing supporters.”
United chief John Murtough added: “Alejandro has really dedicated himself to achieving the objectives that the club set out for him since he arrived in Manchester.
“His talent, drive and determination to succeed saw him quickly progress from our Academy into the first team, and this new long-term contract reflects our confidence in him to continue his exciting development under the guidance of Erik and his staff.
“Alejandro has huge potential, and we are all looking forward to working with him to ensure he can fulfil his ambitions here at Manchester United in the coming years.”
United have already faced Villa twice this season.
They lost 3-1 at Villa Park in Emery’s first game in charge, with that fixture also the last time Cristiano Ronaldo would play for the Red Devils.
United did avenge that defeat with a 4-2 win in the Carabao Cup days later, however.
