Sadio Mane has dropped his biggest hint yet that he will leave Liverpool this summer.
The Senegal international has just one year left on his current deal at Anfield with Jurgen Klopp’s side keen to tie him down to a new contract.
Mane however has reportedly informed the club he wants a new challenge after six thrilling seasons on Merseyside.
Bayern Munich are leading the race for the 30-year-old who stated before last Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid that would address his future soon.
Mane is currently with the Senegal squad ahead of an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin on Saturday.
And when asked about his club future, the former Southampton star suggested a move is on the cards.
‘Like everyone else, I’m on social media and I see the comments.’ Mane said.
‘Isn’t it between 60 to 70% of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want.
‘We will see soon! Don’t be in a hurry because we will see this together. The future will tell us.’
Mane been influential in the success of Klopp’s side over recent seasons, helping them win the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League a year later.
He was also vital in Liverpool’s push for an unprecedented quadruple last season, as the Reds fell short in the Champions League and Premier League but won both domestic cup competitions.
