Kamara uploaded the snap to his Twitter with the caption: "Just having a quiet one!" However, he soon uploaded a second picture, with the same group, a couple of hours later, and he said: "Here’s a better pic now I have put the beer goggles down."

Kamara has been battling health problems in 2022, and he uploaded a snap of himself recovering in an oxygen chamber earlier this year.

The former Bradford City star revealed he has a thyroid condition which has now caused apraxia – a condition that affects an area of the brain which controls speech.

Kamara shared the picture wearing an oxygen mask, and he said: "Back in the Oxygen chamber today as the recovery continues!"

The broadcaster stepped down from his role at Sky Sports at the end of last season.

He said: "My long career at Sky Sports has never felt like work. I've spent 24 terrific years at Sky, and leave with the best of memories.

"My time on Soccer AM, Goals on Sunday and, of course, on Soccer Saturday with Jeff has been – to coin a phrase – unbelievable. I've had the time of my life, and look forward to tuning in every Saturday as a fan."
