Blaise Matuidi pulled off many positions during his glittering football career – and in similar fashion, his wife Isabelle Matuidi is just as capable of owning many different styles and looks.
The French midfielder recently announced the end of his footballing days, which saw him play for the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, while also winning the World Cup with France. He could sit in front of the defence, carry the ball up and down the pitch, play just behind the striker, and he even deputised on the wing.
However, he is not the only versatile Matuidi in his household. As well as being a trained osteopath, Isabelle has proven to be very adept at varying her hair styles to great effect.

She has grown her hair long, cut it short, and dyed it very colours over the years. Isabelle has sported a PSG shirt in the stands to support him, worn thick winter hats in the cold, posed for various photo shoots, and has, of course, stood out in glamorous award ceremonies and events.
It's no wonder the pair immediately fell in love when they met in the French medieval town of Troyes many years ago. Matuidi pulled off one of the most romantic marriage proposals one could imagine when he got down on one knee in 2016.

"In February he took me to the Grand Rex to see the movie Star Wars,” Isabelle said to the Sun. "We arrived in the room but instead of seeing the usual trailers I saw a small film, a montage of our family photos, which ended with a request for marriage.
"I could not believe it. I burst into tears and he did too." Fortunately for Isabelle, she will soon have a lot more time to spend with the former midfielder now.
Matuidi has now hung up his boots at the age of 35-years-old after his final campaign with MLS giants Inter Miami. “Football, I loved you so much. Football, you gave me so much, but the time has come to say stop,” Matuidi wrote on social media.
“I accomplished my dreams as a child, my dreams as a man. It is with a tight throat but with pride that I turn this page today. Thank you.”
