Arsenal have been warned by Louis Saha that Manchester United could enter the party to once again scupper their transfer plans, just like Chelsea did with Mykhaylo Mudryk a few months ago. Arsenal’s long-awaited return to Champions League football means Mikel Arteta will be able to attract high-level players to the Emirates this summer.
A striker is seen as a priority as Arsenal were left short at times this season when Gabriel Jesus was out injured. They’re also in need of bolstering their front line to help change things up more regularly like their Premier League rivals.
Both Manchester City and Liverpool have bags of talent in attack, meaning they’re able to switch things up to keep players fresh. But Arsenal aren’t alone in needing a central striker this summer with United also in the market for a centre forward.
It’s claimed that United’s main target is Harry Kane with the Tottenham forward having just one year remaining on his contract. However, Spurs have proven tough negotiators in the past and it’s been suggested that United could look elsewhere.
Saha points out Napoli frontman Victor Osimhen as a potential option, but also names Hojlund as someone his former club could target.
Louis Saha told DAZN bet: “There are not many alternatives to Kane for Man Utd. Victor Osimhen is an obvious one at the moment, though, he’s scoring a lot of goals for Napoli.

“Very fit, very strong and agile. But it may take him more time to adapt. There is a young boy, Hojlund at Atalanta. But no one offers the guarantees like Kane does.”
Hojlund has admitted previously to being a “huge United fan”, but that wouldn’t stand in his way of a move to a Premier League rival. The Danish striker only joined Atalanta last summer and he’s earned rave reviews in Italy, establishing himself as the club’s main striker.
It’s been reported that Atalanta would want at least double the £14.9m they paid to sign Hojlund last summer with the striker tipped for a bright future. He’s already made an impact at Atalanta with 14 goals and six assists across all competitions this campaign.
