Al Nassr are reportedly working on a move for Sergio Ramos in addition to deals for Cristiano Ronaldo and N’Golo Kante. Bringing in the PSG centre-back would be the perfect gift for the legendary Portuguese star should he decide to join the Saudi Arabian side, with pair enjoying a close relationship after spending nine years together at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo’s next club has been one of the biggest talking points in football following his acrimonious departure from Manchester United last month. Al Nassr have been the club most heavily linked with a move for his services and it appears increasingly likely that they will be his eventual destination.
The 37-year-old may not be the only arrival with the club reportedly working on deals for Kante and Ramos. The Frenchman’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season, meaning he will be free to negotiate with other clubs over a summer move in January. Al Nassr hope to beat the likes of Barcelona to his signature as per the French publication Foot Mercato.
However, it is the potential signing of Ramos that will be best received by Ronaldo given the relationship that he already enjoys with the centre-back. Like Kante, Ramos would arrive in the summer according to Marca with the Spanish star’s contract with PSG expiring at the end of the season and the club have set about trying to convince him to join their project.
Ramos and Ronaldo were part of a hugely successful team during their time at the Bernabeu winning the Champions League four times and the La Liga title on three occasions over a nine-year period. The forward was crucial to everything the side achieved becoming the club’s record goalscorer with a huge 450 goals in all competitions.
He eventually left in 2018 as he sought a new challenge with Juventus with Ramos following three years later after his contract expired. He initially struggled to settle at PSG but has earned himself a starting berth this season and is believed to be reluctant to depart elite-level competition meaning the Saudi side could face a challenge to convince him to join.

The moves for Ronaldo, Kante and Ramos are all further complicated by Saudi Pro League rules. Each team is currently only allowed seven foreign players and Al Nassr currently have eight meaning space will need to be made if any of the prospective stars are able to arrive.
It remains to be seen whether or not Ramos will follow Ronaldo to Al Nassr but the Portugal captain will hope to convince him if he does end up joining the Saudi side.
