Week 17 Fantasy Football Flex Rankings for standard, superflex, 2-QB leagues

It’s time for those of you that made it this far to compete for a fantasy championship, and thanks to injuries and a never-ending list of players on the reserve/COVID list, you’ll have to dive deep into our Week 17 superflex and flex rankings for your final start ’em, sit ’em decisions of the year. We’ve known for a few weeks any player can be taken from our lineups without much notice, so we’ll have to be ready for all scenarios. It’s tough to know who to start in one of your flex spots as you compare potential sleepers from multiple positions, but that’s what these rankings are here to help with.

We have a solid idea of the pecking order at each position, but some of the data we have from the full scope of the season is almost irrelevant. With key defensive players also being taken out of lineups, matchups and “fantasy points against” statistics are a little less dependable. We have explained each week why you should be starting a QB in your superflex spot over a fringe player at another position, and apparently, whoever starts for the Ravens wants to further solidify that point, as Tyler Huntley and Josh Johnson had solid performances in Weeks 15 and 16, respectively. Let’s keep it real, though — if you’ve made it this far, you already know the drill in this format.

As always, we also have our standard flex rankings, which, unlike positional rankings, are most important from the middle to the end. We have plenty of WRs toward the bottom of the list because they have the higher ceilings, but if you’re looking for a higher floor, at least in standard leagues, you should consider an RB who gets more guaranteed touches. Injuries to key running backs have opened the door to backfield committees, which creates more low-ceiling but viable RB prospects. It’s also worth noting the QB position is in a rough place, so while they still do have the highest floor and ceilings, you’re going to see more QBs outside the top 60 more than usual in the two-QB/superflex rankings.
