FULL BOX SCORE
A defensive slugfest played out on Monday night at Heinz Field between the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The T.J. Watt-led Steelers held serve throughout most of the game against the Roquan Smith-led Bears, but with the game on the line, Chicago rookie quarterback Justin Fields had a chance to drive his team to a victory.
Fields had a clutch drive that led to the Bears vaulting ahead on the strength of a Darnell Mooney touchdown catch. But Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers were able to drive back down for a Chris Boswell game-winning field goal before holding off a last-chance Bears offensive gasp for a 29-27 victory.
Around the NFL will have more shortly.
