Tyson Fury threatens to go to Man Utd training ground with Evra to sort them out

Tyson Fury has threatened to visit Manchester United's training ground to "sort them out" after watching their loss to Manchester City this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have struggled in recent weeks, and were beaten 2-0 at Old Trafford by their local rivals this afternoon, with the boxing star in attendance.

And world heavyweight champion Fury has said that he need to instil a winning mentality on the players, who he feels are not "digging deep" enough to win games.

They were recently beaten 5-0 at home by Liverpool, while they were also held to a draw by Atalanta in the Champions League, and Fury likened the losses they have taken to his bouts with Deontay Wilder.

"After today's defeat from City with Manchester United, it is fair to say that United are taking a worse beating than Deontay Wilder took in all his fights versus me," Fury said on Instagram.

"We are absolutely getting smashed out there."

Fury believes that a lack of "winning mentality" is what's cost his team in recent weeks, saying that he feels they don't believe they will win games when they go behind.

"I think partly it is because the players – with no disrespect to any of you – it doesn't seem like you are digging deep to try and win these games," Fury continued.

"It just seems like you're happy to get through them and whatever happens, happens.

"You know, when I fought Wilder and I was on the floor, and any man I've ever fought, I never believed I was going to lose the fight.

"I always believed I would come back and win, and that is called a winner's mentality, something that you guys in the last two games have just not had.

"I think me and Patrice Evra will come down to training and give you the hard word of what you need – I'll see you all soon, be prepared."

And Evra responded to Fury's video, saying in the comments section that the loss was "painful".

Evra also reiterated the world heavyweight champion's threat to head to Carrington Training Ground by adding that he will be bringing his "fighting energy"

"Today was painful for everybody," Evra said. "With our fighting energy we can bring back the winning mentality."

Fury and Evra watched the game together, while he also met with World Cup winner Paul Pogba as he attended the game at Old Trafford.

The former Juventus star was present for the match and met one of the club's celebrity fans, world heavyweight champion Fury.

The pair posed alongside former United defender Evra and rapper Tion Wayne, with Fury sharing the picture on his Instagram account and captioning it "afternoon with the lads".

City opened the game with an early goal when Eric Bailly put the ball in his own net, before Bernardo Silva sealed the result just before half-time.
