Andrew Tate viciously knocked out as footage re-emerges after Greta Thunberg KO

Andrew Tate was at the hands of a technical Twitter knockout by Greta Thunberg – and footage has now emerged of the self-described misogynist being brutally KO'd in the ring.

Former kickboxing star Tate and his brother Tristan were detained in Romania as part of a human trafficking and rape investigation on Thursday and they will spend the next 30 days in a Romanian detention centre. The controversial influencer had his house raided in Bucharest and was one of four people arrested amid the investigation into human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.

Tate's arrest came after a public spat with climate campaigner Thunberg, who destroyed the 36-year-old with a Twitter takedown.

Before being detained, Tate picked a fight with the Swedish activist by boasting about his supercar collection with 'enormous emissions'.

Thunberg, 19, clapped back with a trademark response, "Yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalld***"

The reply to Tate's troll tweet quickly became one of the most-liked tweets of all-time, and one theory, which has since been confirmed as untrue, claimed that police could identify his whereabouts ahead his arrest because of a pizza box used in his own video reply.

"This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes," Thunberg added, in a second cheeky swipe at the rumour.

Before gaining a worldwide online profile for his provocative views, British-American influencer Tate was once a highly-regarded kickboxer, winning SKA championships in different weight divisions.

And after he once claimed he has only been 'knocked out cold only once in 87 fights', old MMA footage has now emerged showcasing the social media personality getting viciously battered inside the ring.

The clip shows Tate competing at the 'Enfusion 3: Trial of the Gladiators' tournament in 2012, where he is pummelled by opponent Franci Graj.

Graj teaches Tate a brutal lesson in the clip, while the influencer who was born in Chicago was clad in shorts bearing the American flag.

Nicknamed the 'Cobra', Tate is seen taking punches and a knee to the head in the first round before the fight is eventually called as he was treated by medics on the floor of the ring.

The knockout has over 480,000 views online, but has still gained nowhere near the traction of Thunberg's tweet, that has reached 3.6 millions likes and has been viewed over 250 million times.
